Jeffrey Pointer

Is a native of Montclair, New Jersey.  He has been married to the former Tonya Alexander for 24 years, and they have three children: Terrence 22, Derek 19, and Morgan 13.

 Jeffrey became a Christian at an early age and his parents, George and Elizabeth Pointer, were faithful Christians who trained their children with spiritual values.  Jeffrey is one of four children (2 boys and 2 girls).

 After high school, Jeffrey attended Northeastern Christian Junior College in Villanova, Pennsylvania.  He continued his education at Oklahoma Christian College.

After college, his journey of the ministry continued. He served as minister for six years at the Church of Christ in Americus, Georgia. He served as minister for the Courtland Avenue Church of Christ in Quitman, Georgia for two years.  He has been the minister of the Southern HIlls Church of Christ for the past six years, a work that was started in his home.

He is highly respected in the brotherhood and has been featured as speaker, guest minister, and facilitator for numerous regional and local lectureships.  Jeffrey is known for his friendly personality, his jovial nature, his passion for singing and preaching. In reference to his character, he is a man of God.
